作品介紹：
 
王和平的耳膜書《怪咖啡因 blame it on the caffeine》。過動因子攝取過量，路又不知往哪裡走，混出一張詩集雙生兒。為腦中喋喋不休以麥克風擴音，語言在結巴、迴圈、磁帶中變形。詩作為文本，詩作為樂器，詩作為變種寶貝。所有的內向迂迴，全捲進一張56分鐘長的卡帶。 
 
詩人撿起前作《過動公寓 it’s the caffeine dancing 》十五首詩，輸出十四首曲子。假如詩的音樂無可翻譯，可用音節連繫你嗎？所有的寶石終將被肯認了嗎？門關上以後面壁發聲，這是在幹嘛？留住空氣留住光，送走影，這有可能嗎？她問。
 
卡帶封面與台北藝術家蔡瑞恒合作，獲授權使用其原作〈鬼魂與機器人〉，並由藝術家wen gum gum操刀裝幀設計。曲風遊走於緩慢說唱、怪奇電子、酷兒民謠、莎芙式流行、聲音拼貼和氛圍音樂。《怪咖啡因 blame it on the caffeine》是由詩打開，與聲音碰撞的敘事空間。人聲在國語中文、粵語、英語間時空錯亂，企圖在私密語言與陌生音節間，忽明忽暗。專輯以一串狗吠聲開始，咖啡廳的琴聲作結，中間一些節奏明亮一些遲疑。會說話的詩、不小心唱起來的詩、派對裡插播的詩、會敲門的詩。《怪咖啡因》是詩的變體，也是詩的還原。
 
原型詩集《過動公寓 it’s the caffeine dancing》獲得周夢蝶詩獎首獎、2024OPENBOOK好書獎年度中文創作。
